With the support of the Waldesian Church Project through Interlife Onlus, PMSSS distributed goats to 4 SHG s (20 women) and formed the First-Generation Goat Cooperative Groups in April 2025. Building on this success, these cooperatives have now enabled the creation of four new II Generation Goat Cooperatives each received 10 goats (9 female & 1 male)on 08.12.2025. The new groups are: Venkateswara (Rayapatti), Sevvanthipoo (Kathuvaripatti), Nallayee Amman and Mullai (Aravampatti).This II Generation initiative reflects the project’s ongoing success in promoting sustainable livelihoods, advancing women’s empowerment, and strengthening community-based development.

Capacity building on Cooperative Milk Production : To improve the dignity of women and their livelihood cows were donated to the rural women in Rasiyamangalm village. These women were facilitated with training on animal husbandary , cooperative marketing management and fodder development. This project is successful, right now 36 women have established a milk society. They have opened two marketing points and taking substantial income by selling milk.
“With the support of Interlife Onlus, Italy, under the Prosolidar Project, the Kummangulam Goat Cooperative Group was formally established on 23.10.2025. A total of thirteen beneficiaries received goats to enhance their livelihood opportunities and promote sustainable income generation.”
