During the Covid-19, many were become orphaned and lost their jobs. To restart their livelihood, cow, goat, Tailoring machine and petty shop materials were donated through the support of Manos Unidas, Spain. This project has created hope and confident among the victims. The income that they could generate through these donations have been helping them to improve their financial status.

In the year 2019 Gaja Cyclone hit our region drastically. Most of the farmers who depend on fruit bearing trees for their livelihood. They lost these trees in the cyclone and their future was bleak. Through Unidas Contra El Hambre, USA these farmers were facilitated training on how to take profit by growing fruit bearing trees. Seedlings were also donated through this project . Now these trees are giving income to the beneficiaries and their livelihood is slowly scaling up.

Due to lock down thebeneficiaries were suffered a lot even for one meal. At this crucial time thissupport was very much useful to the beneficiaries. 200 people were benefitedthrough this project.
